About Telok Blangah

Telok Blangah is a residential estate and subzone located in the southern part of Singapore. It is part of the larger Bukit Merah Planning Area, and is bordered by the estates of Bukit Merah to the north, Harbourfront to the east, and Queenstown to the west.  

 

Telok Blangah is known for its hilly terrain, which provides residents with scenic views of the city and the surrounding areas. One of the main attractions in Telok Blangah is Mount Faber, a popular spot for hiking and taking in panoramic views of Singapore. The area is also home to the Henderson Waves Bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects Mount Faber to Telok Blangah Hill Park.

 

In addition to its natural attractions, Telok Blangah is also home to several public housing estates, including Telok Blangah Crescent and Telok Blangah Drive. There are several amenities in the area, such as Telok Blangah Mall, which has a range of shops and restaurants, as well as the Telok Blangah Community Centre, which offers a variety of activities and classes for residents. The Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre, located south of the West Coast Highway, is Singapore’s main distribution point for fruits, vegetables and dried goods. 

 

Transportation in Telok Blangah is mainly served by bus routes and the nearby Harbourfront MRT station, which provides easy access to other parts of Singapore. The area is also located close to the Central Business District, making it a convenient location for those who work in the city.

 
The Greater Southern Waterfront extends from Pasir Panjang to Marina East, and will be transformed into a new major location for residential developments and businesses along Singapore’s southern coast. Well-known condominiums along Keppel Bay include Reflections at Keppel Bay, Corals at Keppel Bay and Caribbean at Keppel Bay. Further south at the resort island of Sentosa, popular condominiums include The Oceanfront at Sentosa Cove, The Coast at Sentosa Cove, Seascape condominium and The Residences at W Sentosa Cove.
