Lock+Store has once again been recognised under Singapore’s Company of Good initiative, reaffirming our commitment to building a business that delivers both commercial value and positive social impact.

What is the Company of Good initiative?

The Company of Good is a national programme led by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). It recognises organisations in Singapore that integrate purpose into their business strategy, workplace culture, and community engagement. Since its launch, more than 1,000 organisations have been recognised for contributing to a more inclusive and resilient society.

Lock+Store’s 2026 recognition

On 20 July 2026, our CEO, Ms Helen Ng, attended the official conferment ceremony to receive this recognition on behalf of Lock+Store. This milestone reflects our continued efforts to:

  • Embed social responsibility into everyday operations

  • Support community initiatives through our people and resources

  • Build meaningful partnerships beyond our core business

Why this recognition matters

The Company of Good initiative highlights a growing shift in how businesses operate. In their forewords, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth David Neo emphasised that:

  • Businesses can create both economic and social value

  • Doing good contributes to long-term business sustainability

  • Social responsibility should go beyond one-off donations

  • Every company, regardless of size, can make an impact

  • Strong partnerships help build a more resilient and inclusive society

These principles align closely with how Lock+Store approaches growth and community engagement.

How Lock+Store contributes to the community

At Lock+Store, our approach is simple: integrate purpose into what we already do. This includes supporting community initiatives such as the Public Transport Council's Caring SG Commuters outreach, empowering our team to give back by supporting our charity partner Ray of Hope's Charity Gala dinner, and using our operational strengths to create value beyond storage. For example, our team regularly participates in local initiatives and partnerships that support community welfare, while maintaining high standards in customer service and operational excellence.

A shared achievement

This recognition belongs to every member of the Lock+Store team and our partners who support our initiatives. It reflects the collective effort to build a business that not only serves customers but also contributes positively to society. We remain committed to growing responsibly and continuing to make a meaningful impact in the communities we operate in.
