Spreading Christmas Cheer To Community Cats At A Self-Storage Facility Near You

    •   Inaugural Gold-D photo book highlights the plight of Singapore's community cats and turns the spotlight on community feeders
    •   All proceeds will go towards a Christmas food drive for community cats

Christmas comes with promises of full tummies for Singapore's community cats as self-storage provider Lock+Store opens up its facilities for the sale of the inaugural Gold-D photo book. All proceeds from the book sale at various Lock+Store facilities will go towards purchasing food for community cats. The book highlights the plight of local community cats and turns the spotlight on individual feeders.

Helen Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Lock+Store says: “Over the years we have organised corporate giving activities that have benefited various animal welfare groups. This year is no different. We hope to make it easier for the public to support the stray cats in their community by bringing the Gold-D photo book to a Lock+Store facility close to them."

The public can purchase the photo book, produced by anthropologist, entrepreneur and animal welfare activist Chan Chow Wah, from Lock+Store's Ayer Rajah Crescent, Chai Chee, Serangoon North and Tampines facilities from now until Friday, 27 December 2019. Each magazine costs $10. All proceeds will go towards purchasing food supplies for various cat outreach groups in Singapore such as Metta Cats ( and Four Paws at Changi Village (

Chan who is also the owner of pet supplies shop Animal Human Alliance says: “Apart from celebrating the lives of Singapore's community cats, the photo book also turns the spotlight on individual feeders who have been quietly feeding and rescuing stray cats with hardly any support from the community. Through the book, we hope to convey the message that stray cats and their feeders have a place in our community too. They should be treated with love and respect."
